The Story of The Painting Barn

I knew from a very young age that I wanted to own my own business. God has led my career down a very curvy path, and I've enjoyed every minute of it. From being a classroom teacher, to a t-shirt maker, to an art teacher, to paint party instructor, to a sign maker, there was never a dull moment!

For years I taught school during the day and taught paint workshops a few nights a week. I was soon able to cut back days teaching as I focused more and more on my business. A dream came true when we were able to build our own barn studio in our backyard in 2018. Little did we know that workshops would come to a screeching halt in 2020.

That didn't stop us! We shifted and were very creative! We (my husband and I) made it work! I was able to leave the classroom in 2021 and focused full time on building our business.

We purchased a laser for our business which really opened up a lot of doors for us. I stared cutting layered door hangers and as the world opened up again, workshops continued! Door hanger workshops provide an enjoyable craft that small groups love doing! Memories are made at our workshops and guests leave with something they are proud of!
